Poly-Scientific Mourns Loss of Founder

Founder leaves legacy of innovation...
The employees at Poly-Scientific are very saddened by the passing of James
J. Pandapas on August 21, 2003, and extend our condolences to his family.
Poly-Scientific was founded in 1953 by James Pandapas. The company’s
original vision was to become a research and development business offering
new technologies for the then emerging inertial navigation marketplace for
aircrafts. Quickly, it evolved into a manufacturing operation where its many
innovative product designs were crafted.

“Today, Poly-Scientific is recognized as a worldwide leader in slip ring, motor
and fiber optic design and manufacturing, and we are extremely proud of the
foundation that Mr. Pandapas established for our company,” says Larry Ball,
president of Poly-Scientific. “The legacy of ideas that Mr. Pandapas left over
50 years ago has allowed us to create a company that serves a diverse
marketplace, is a resource to our community and provides a challenging
workplace for its employees,” adds Ball.
