The
Silencer® series of brushless motors offers diameters from
1.2 inches to 4.1 inches and lengths from 1.3 inches to 5.5 inches.
It offers continuous torques from 2.4 to 519 oz-in and speeds up to 20,000 rpm. Built for rugged applications and environments,
the Silencer series motors feature bonded rare earth magnets and
aluminum housings. Options include electronic drivers, encoders
and gearheads, as well as Hall effect, resolver and sensorless
feedback. Our very quiet, efficient, brushless design is well suited for applications where low noise and reliable, long
life operation are particularly
important.

Quiet, Brushless Motors
Silencer® brushless motors provide smooth, efficient operation and increased speed ranges. Utilizing bonded neo magnets, our BN series motors provide excellent value with their low cost and high torque. Each frame of the BN motors is available in four different lengths with a variety of electrical options to meet a wide range of commercial and industrial operating specifications.
When the application requires the reliability and performance of a brushless DC motor, yet must operate in a dusty or wet environment, the Moog BN-IP series is a natural choice. We have taken our proven BN series brushless motors and packaged them into an IP65 rated version. Anodized aluminum housing and end caps, sealed bearings and high quality sealed connectors provide a very durable and attractive motor package.

Silencer® Series Brushless DC Motors Slotless Motors
Slotless Motors
Slotless motors provide zero detent torque for near zero vibration. Utilizing SmCo magnets and a stainless steel housing, the BMS09 is ideal for medical applications where the motor has to withstand autoclave conditions. Utilizing NdFeB magnets, the BSS09 provides excellent value with a lower cost and high torque. Both versions are available in two standard lengths with three standard winding codes. Custom configurations available upon request. In addition, we offer a variety of electrical options to meet a wide range of commercial and industrial operating specifications.
Reliable Operation
The compact slotless motors are well suited for applications demanding high efficiency, high speed, low acoustical noise and zero detent torque. Typical options include Hall effect feedback or sensorless.

optimized for the specific motor's operating parameters. Moog Components
Group has already performed motor/drive system integration, mechanically,
electrically and thermally and offers off-the-shelf models for
a wide variety of applications. Utilizing
bonded neo magnets and Surface Mount Technology (SMT), the BND series motors provide excellent value with their
low-cost and high torque. The compact BND motors are will suited for applications
demanding low audible noise, long life and ease of installation.

motors offer relatively high speed in a larger diameter motor. Ideal for applications involving higher
speeds at higher power levels, such as medical centrifuge, pumps, and blowers.
Utilizing high-engery rare earth magnets, these motors provide excellent
value in a high speed, high power motor.

high energy sintered neodymium magnets, the BN23HP brushless
motor offers almost 2 times the torque capability of the standard
BN23. When maximum performance and minimum size are important,
the BN23HP offers an effective solution. Finned
black motor housing offers excellent heat transfer characteristics.
Typical options include electronic drives, encoders, gearheads,
as well as Hall effect, resolvers, and sensorless feedback.

Often a customer's application already involves extensive mechanical assemblies and also requires an electric motor (pumps, fans, compressors, etc.). When it does not make sense to implement a fully housed motor, rotor-stator part sets are a viable and economical solution.
